September Monthly Meeting: Fall Opener

Join us for the first General Meeting of our 2026-2027 season!

We’ll reconnect after a glorious summer over coffee (bring a mug) and goodies, welcome new members, and catch up with familiar friends after the summer break.

Our fall Speaker Series opens with an enlightening presentation from representatives of the Regional District of Nanaimo’s Solid Waste Services Department. They will share how waste is managed throughout our region and explain the programs helping residents and businesses reduce waste, recycle correctly and make more sustainable choices.

Join us to learn more about curbside recycling, organic waste collection, waste separation requirements and the steps we can all take to support a cleaner, healthier region.

We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin another season of fun, friendship, and fellowship.
